We are pretty excited to get in the Play Store!įor now this is an open beta, you can install the app from here. Let us be clear: this is still BGA! Just it's inside an app, so it's easier to install directly from the store, and easier to open directly like any app instead of launching the browser first then browsing to BGA. If not, it should be still really cheap, considering the current game price. And this is actually happening! We are using new technologies ( Progressive Web Apps and Trusted Web Access for those interested in the technical side) to bring you BGA contained inside an app on Android devices. Apparently its only a single chapter thatll be added, so I think itll be a free update. Our bet was that a mobile friendly website would sometime in the future become an app. Since you can play on BGA through the browser of your mobile phone or tablet, we focused first on making BGA as mobile friendly as possible. Rewriting everything in another technology (or two) to have an app would be quite a huge task and would take - literally - years. Of course, a lot of work has been put in making BGA as it is today with more than 160 games available. Some of you have requested an app! This has been suggested many many times.
